That's the WebDAV upload URL, people wanting to access the artefact
should be using a repository URL something more like:

        http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org

Unfortunately, there seems to be no groovyx groupid set up so no-one is
actually going to be able to see the groovyx.gpars groupid.

I think this is a job for Ben -- or the groupid has to be changed to
org.codehaus.gpars.

I guess the question is whether the groupid should follow the package
name or not.

Good point, Russel. I'm happy with both options for a group id.

OK, so we'll go with the org.codehaus.gpars group id for now.
We're now up and running at http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org/org/codehaus/gpars/gpars/0.9-beta-1-SNAPSHOT/
The integration page (http://gpars.codehaus.org/Integration) has been updated accordingly.

Enjoy everyone!

Re: GPars in mvn snapshot repo

Russel Winder-2
Apologies for the delay in my emails getting sent to the list -- after
upgrading Jaunty -> Karmic I hadn't realized my Postfix set up had been
mangled and that no emails were getting sent out to some sites.
Hopefully all fixed now.

As far as I can tell using the groupId of org.codehaus.gpars is working
fine.

Every using Grapes should remember that Grapes *never* checks for
updates to a jar of a given version number -- it assumes that a jar with
a version number is fixed for all time; true maybe for released jars but
very untrue for snapshots.  This means that you have to manually delete
gpars-0.9-beta-1-SNAPSHOT.jar from the Grapes cache if there is an
update.  I have created JIRA GROOVY-3846
(http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GROOVY-3846) but whoever is responsible
for Grapes is studiously ignoring the whole problem :-(

Good point. Well, I added my vote for the issue and hope it will increase its priority.
